The spread of online education in India has not diminished the importance of some of the best-known regular courses of Delhi University. The popularity of its MCA programme testifies that. The University of Delhi conducts an entrance exam for admission to the MCA programme of the Department of Computer Science.

This Department of Delhi University conducts two other postgraduate courses- M.Sc. in Computer Science and P.G.D.C.A. The P.G.D.C.A. Program is run in the constituent colleges while the other two course are run in the department itself. In 2010 the Delhi University MCA Entrance Exam will be held on 17th February.

The admission test for M.Sc Computer Science would be held on 7th June and the admission test for P.G.D.C.A would be held on 8th June 2010.Eligibility:

For admission to the MCA programme of Delhi University candidates need to pass the Bachelor's Degree/Masters degree with at least 60% (55% for reserved category students) marks in aggregate. It is also necessary for them to have one paper in Mathematics and another in Computer Science/Statistics/Operational research/Mathematics.
